Organic Ale (Mikes Organic Brewery)

mikes organic aleCrafted in the style of an English dark mild ale.

MOB Organic Ale has an alluring deep dark brown colour and bright ruby hue, forming a rich coffee coloured creamy head.

The aroma features strong coffee, chocolate and roasted barley characters which are abundant in it’s full round flavour.

Bitterness is gentle and it’s mouth-feel is as smooth as suede while the lingering roasted flavours ensure your enjoyment is long lasting. The subtle carbonation means that this beer can be enjoyed with a meal without bloating the drinker.

Kortegast Sparkling Ale (Wigram Brewing)

kortegastThe Wigram Brewing Company wishes to advise that our Red Sparkling Ale Full Strength Beer has been crafted from Historical Hops which were discovered still growing on the banks of the Hokitika River. The original hops were grown by a pioneer Hokitika brewer, Mr William CJ Kortegast. His Crown Brewery was one of the very first West Coast Breweries.

The grisp bitter flavour is complimented by a full malt body and rounded mouth-feel with the most amazing after taste.

Hophead IPA (Brew Moon)

An organic India Pale Ale, this is a full bodied, malty beer that is heavily hopped resulting in a fruity hop character with a healthy bitterness balanced by the 5% alcohol.

Wheat (Three Boys)

Three Boys Wheat evokes ancient abbey ales, when yeasts were wild and spices instead of hops were added for bitterness.

Three Boys use genuine Belgian yeast that with the wheat malt produces the authentic frothy head, cloudiness and huge flavours sought in this wit bier (white beer) style. The addition of coriander and citrus zest really make this beer special.

Moa Lager (Moa Brewing Co)

Neudorf Ale (Moutere Brewing)

German settlers arrived in Upper Moutere in 1843 and after a rough start, settled Upper Moutere, then called Sarau, in 1850. Cordt Bennseman started building the Moutere Inn in 1850 as a resting place between Richmond and Motueka - in the heart of the new hop growing area.

Neudorf Ale is an Altbier and is similar in style to an NZ draft or ale. It's malt driven, copper brown and has a low hop profile.
