Quad (Moa Brewing Co)

moa brewing coThis full noise Marlborough quadruple is a favourite at the brewery. Lots of ester aromas and a full malt complement of Carabelge Abbey and NZ Pale. There are slight nuances of chocolate and caramel, and the elevated ABV gives an extra sweetness and glowing finish.

"Jesus Christofferson, I ordered a pint of this and was given one, when all around were drinking out of much more sensible stemmed (smaller glasses). It didn’t enjoy being poured from gasflow as there was minimal head on a clear rosy-amber body. Aromas of rosehip, floral things and rich fruity malts. Flavours reflect all of this along with a typically rich sultana and plum note from the higher alcohol content. This is a bloody good drop and it only got better as I got further down the pint. I put this down to it coming up to around 9 degrees celcius from its pourage of 3-4. Or that I was warming up as well."
