"5thDayofMay are a young 5 piece Christchurch-based cover band. We play a variety of different genres but primarily rock and pop. The artists we cover range from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, and David Bowie to Jack Johnson, Paramore, The White Stripes and The Foo Fighters. Our band consists of 5 members who all have a passion for music and extensive experience in the performing arts. Two of our members our studying at Jazz School while others are studying at Canterbury University or working as part of the Christchurch rebuild.

5thDayofMay has been playing together for over 4 years now and have built up a repertoire of over 100 songs and we are always learning more. We have played at venues including: Al’s Bar, The Craic, The Lytelton Street Festival, Temp’s Bar, Hagley Park Thunderdome, The Revival Bar, and the Oxford Town Hall."
