Abv: 8.88%, Bone dry and ultra hoppy Double IPA.
Brewed with 80% more hops than our already extremely hoppy HopWired IPA.
Hops: Lots and lots of New Zealand and American hops Malt: Golden Promise, Pilsner, Caramalt, Pale Crystal
Yeast: Wyeast 1272 – All American Ale, IBU: 75, SRM: 6 (Pale)
Immediately identifiable hop aroma – sharp vegetive flavour. On tasting there is a deep thick chocolate undertone with a zesty hoppiness (I’m guessing NZ hops). I think the dark malt flavour is pretty restrained, not roasty or stout-ish but evident all the same. So it lets the bitterness come to the fore, nicely balanced so allows an appetite for more. I’m a newcomer to the Black IPA and wasn’t sure about the style but this is impressive work.

Moa Original is a classically brewed lager created from a blend of New Zealand premium malts and Nelson hops. Fermented with traditional bottom fermenting yeast, Moa Original shows an array of smooth velvety characters on the palate but also has a refreshing floral nose.
